WePlay Esports together with UESF will hold a tournament dedicated to the Independence Day of Ukraine

During the Dota 2 tournament, the organizers are planning to set a Ukrainian record for the number of competition participants in this discipline.
During the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, the WePlay Esports media holding company in partnership with the Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF) will hold a Dota 2 tournament titled “Independence Day.”
One of the necessary steps for the development of the esports industry is the promotion of esports among the nation. During the event, the organizers are planning to set a new Ukrainian record for the number of participants in a Dota 2 competition.
The tournament will be held on August 29 in a 1v1 format, Best-of-1, according to the Single Elimination system, when a participant is eliminated after one defeat. In the finals, the remaining gamers will play each other in the Best-of-3 format. The total prize pool is UAH 30,000. The tournament will be held online on the WePlay Compete tournament platform.
